CHEF KAZU

Born and raised in Fukuoka, Japan, Chef Kazunari Araki, fondly known as Chef Kazu, grew up in a vibrant culinary environment with family that worked in and around restaurants. His early experiences with knives and the fundamentals of cooking shaped his culinary philosophy, one centred around simplicity and natural flavour. He believes in showcasing the innate taste of ingredients without excessive seasonings or decorations, inspired by the simple, comforting home meals of his youth.
